Welcome to Rose Hollow Cabins, where we invite you to relax, explore, and experience the beauty of the Daniel Boone National Forest on our private, 10-acre, mountainous property. Please review the following terms and conditions, as they apply to all guests of Rose Hollow Cabins. By booking and staying with us, you agree to abide by these terms to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all.

1. General Agreement

By booking a cabin at Rose Hollow Cabins, guests agree to follow all rules and guidelines set forth by Rose Hollow, LLC. Failure to comply with these terms may result in immediate cancellation of your stay without refund and potential liability for damages.

2. Property Access and Permitted Activities

Rose Hollow Cabins is located in a wilderness area, where the natural surroundings are to be respected and preserved. The following rules apply to all guests:

  • Permitted Activities: Guests are encouraged to enjoy hiking, wildlife viewing, photography, and other low-impact activities. Please remember to “take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints.”
  • Prohibited Activities: Hunting, trapping, foraging, metal detecting, and any form of wildlife disturbance are not permitted on Rose Hollow property.
  • Cave Restrictions: Entry into any cave on the property is strictly forbidden to protect both guest safety and the small bat population that resides in these caves.

3. Cabins and Smoking Policy

To provide a comfortable and safe environment for all guests, we maintain a strict no-smoking policy:

  • Smoke-Free Cabins: Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside “The Deer Run” or “The Mountain Laurel” cabins. A cleaning fee will be charged for any violation of this policy.
  • Outdoor Smoking: Smoking outdoors is permitted only at designated areas, and all cigarette butts or smoking-related litter must be disposed of responsibly.

4. Off-Road Vehicles and Motorized Equipment

To preserve the tranquility and natural condition of our property, off-road vehicles, ATVs, motorcycles, and other motorized equipment are not allowed on Rose Hollow property. Guests may park their vehicles in designated parking areas.

5. Pet Policy

We welcome pets at Rose Hollow Cabins, but for their safety and the protection of local wildlife, we ask guests to observe the following:

  • Leash Requirement: Pets must remain on a leash at all times while on Rose Hollow property.
  • Pet Supervision: Guests are responsible for keeping pets under control and ensuring they do not disturb other guests or wildlife.

6. Environmental Responsibility

We ask guests to respect the natural landscape and to be mindful of their environmental impact:

  • No Rock Stacking: Altering natural formations, such as stacking rocks in streams, can disrupt the ecosystem and affect wildlife that relies on natural water flow. Please refrain from disturbing these areas.
  • Litter and Waste: Dispose of all waste properly, including any pet waste, and leave the property as you found it.

7. Hiking and Safety

Rose Hollow Cabins is situated in a rugged, wilderness environment. Guests exploring the property should do so with caution:

  • Hiking at Your Own Risk: Guests are responsible for their own safety while hiking and exploring the property. Rose Hollow, LLC, its owners, and staff are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or incidents that may occur.
  • Hazardous Areas: Some areas may be off-limits for guest safety and preservation. Please respect any marked boundaries and guidelines provided.

8. Liability for Loss or Damage

While we strive to provide a secure environment, guests are advised to take necessary precautions to safeguard their belongings:

  • Personal Belongings: Rose Hollow Cabins, its owners, and staff are not responsible for any theft, damage, or loss of personal property.
  • Damage to Property: Guests will be held financially responsible for any damage caused to the cabins or surrounding property. A security deposit may be required at the time of booking and will be used to cover any damages incurred.

9. Compliance with Local Laws and Regulations

Rose Hollow Cabins operates in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws. Any guest conduct that is illegal or disruptive to the safety and enjoyment of others will result in immediate termination of the stay without refund and may lead to further legal action.

10. Agreement and Acknowledgment

By booking a stay at Rose Hollow Cabins, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of your stay without refund.
